again with the picking up of the rocks
All day long with the picking up of the rocks, enough already.Done!
I also got the oat seed down, yes I said oat.>One layer oat seed >one layer grass seed>one layer red clover.
The oat will germinate quickly to protect the grass and the clover will remain hidden for its first year or two.All this covered with a light rake and dusting of dry fertilizer covered with straw ,ought to do it.
good times

It hurts...
It hurts in so many places in so many ways,I could have wrote a folk song about it...wait I did because it was so boring picking up rocks all day,and painful even with the help of an arm extension thing. It as if I have aged a hundred years in just one.I could get used to being out there all day every day though. The sun warms you and your mind listens as your only other task, no matter how painstaking, fade, as thoughts and daydreams propel your mind into what you are creating and how free you are to be doing what you are doing. Each one of us have the power to change the world and now is the time.BAAM who has the time, who has the money,I have been supplying what I can but now I need help.I think I need help physically more than financially, of course one begets the other,as A lot needs to happen in a short time(oh yea I think I should have something on hog days as well,so think of blossom festival as a dry run).I really want to build a small village on Jackson. Now, out of the trees I need to take down.I gotta go ,my body hurts just thinking about it.

Things have been working out But it seems the timing is off
I found a supplier that I can purchase 100 North Star cherry 3' for April delivery(they will hold them in the cooler until shipping so they stay dormant). When I recieve them I have a spot for 80 trees as an orchard of its own on the gifted land on Jackson street,20 can be gifted to the local cause. These are small trees but will handle a transplant easier, after a good soak in superthrive. The good news is that there seems to be a bigger than normal run on fruit trees, unless its a selling tactic,I prefer to think of it as more persons"joining in" as edible landscaping seems to be catching on.

Jackson Street site NEW
I guess I was proud of the sign and not what you could see as far as Identifying the lot.Hey it was a moment, besides I took a video which is currently being loaded onto youtube. Its funny how ridiculesly idiotic I appear to be on lots of my youtube stuff but its me in all my variations,I just dont communicate well at all,and never have. Im also always on the verge of overwhelmed almost as if its by choice,It seems I get done "more than the average bear"with this approach. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ur5AeQ1383c

every where I look
Wasted space is all around us.Food should be abundant and could be with your help.Im not advocating a community garden as much as Im saying fruit and berries and nut trees should be in every part of the landscape as well as winter onions, asparagus, horseradish and especially mushrooms should all be placed in areas assessable to the people. And we have the power to do it individually in our own spaces.Plant something like garlic for instance takes forever to get underway, but relatively cheap to buy and will provide you with years of crops and continue long after you are gone. What a return on that investment. Most of these crops could be grown in areas that are currently hard to mow/creeks/around poles/ditches or wherever, you get it.I will be practicing this as I try to offset normal orchard practices.I personally will be planting all of the above listed crops.FOOD,all around.I believe I will try to put some aquaponics into the mix on the Jackson St site.Fish is gooood food.
So please buy a plant that produces food and returns every year and turn it free into the world by simply placing it into the dirt, especially if you plan on giving away some of what it produces or just walking away for a year or two.Think of it as giving thanks for all you have gotten and share in the hope.
I know many currently partake in this practice and for those folks I issue the challenge of Mushrooms.Check into the Wine Cap variety,it seems super simple and quick.I will be purchasing 20 plus pounds of grain spawn this year in hopes of a crop in the summer.I

Out of wak???
I just cant seem to get it right today,my questions are half answered only because I half as#$ked them.I feel as if the life was sucked out of me half way through the day almost as we entered a local town.It seemed to be downhill from there, and didnt let up all the rest of the day with negativity a plenty.I hate days like today because I must have missed something along the way,you know getting kicked while you are down type of thing.I have the deed for jackson street and have planted a couple of signs. And so it begins again.....goood times are ahead as the house has now fallen from the top priority(we now have upper cabinets for the first time in 22 yrs for me and at least 15 for her) how thankful we are to have them now.Even after all the bad today it just isnt bad enough to negate the fact BHCO will be planting over 150 (estimated) fruit or nut bearing trees in the next month or so.I Have just enough of my own money to do it .awesome
