I put up the signs today on the new Dry Basin Project sites.
The grass was 3 foot tall and full of litter. It has a lot of downed timber and stuff that needs burned(half rotted brush piles). In one lot I had a trash bag and a half, half way through. I still need to pick up trash everywhere else.
This tree is absolutely beautiful and will be staying, Its an acorn I guess, or so I have been told. I guess I haven't got that far yet. I need to assess the situation in each area and take notes, I will just start keeping a binder with folders of each lot in it, that way I can do it on the"fly". I will be able to log receipts better and show my books to officials when necessary. I am guaranteed action daily due to aquafina man(I guess I should take that back, after the police visit there was no bottle today)But there was an ice cold one yesterday as I was mowing, yes while i had my back turned it happened and the bottle was still cold. I take it personally to a point, then I feel its just criminal or even evil and I move on. Man if that is an acorn, its a goldmine of food already so I don't want to disturb it too much. Imagine the cool layout of the basin if I need to swing around that tree! More tires more funding, and we save a beautiful tree, I will be cutting the poison Ivy vine that is 2 inches in width. No frogs or birds seen at all, that scares me. Two rabbits but no squirrels and lots of mosquitoes, I'm sure there are no bats. OMG Its midnight I gotta go to sleep.
